The **OOS rating** blends a horse’s ability, how well today’s conditions suit it, and the strength of its yard and rider into one figure, expressed on the official-rating scale of the race it runs in. Every runner is ranked within its own race, so figures compare across a field, not across a card.

## Top OOS rated

One horse per race. **Cond** is the conditions rating; **Clear** is the margin in pounds over the second top rated.
